Chocolate Gifts

Chocolate gifts here are boxes you add to a flower order: Sweet Treats, in 8 oz or 14 oz, and Simply Chocolates. Pair either one with a bouquet arranged by hand by a local florist near the recipient.

The guide below covers when to pair them and how to keep chocolate at its best.

Chocolate gifts to pair with flowers

When flowers and chocolates fit

A box of chocolates turns a bouquet into a fuller gift for Valentine's Day, an anniversary, a birthday or Mother's Day. Love's Indulgence Bundle already pairs a heart of red roses with assorted chocolates; see it in Valentine's Day chocolates. Simply Chocolates also appears in our Mother's Day chocolates.

Keeping chocolate at its best

Chocolate softens in heat, so set the chocolate gift box somewhere cool and out of direct sun, away from a warm windowsill. Many chocolates taste best at room temperature, so if the box goes in the refrigerator, let it sit out for a few minutes before serving.

Chocolate gift questions

What allergens are in the chocolate boxes?

Sweet Treats contains milk, soy and tree nuts, and the chocolates inside may differ from box to box. If the recipient has a food allergy, check with someone close to them before you send, or skip the chocolate and let the flowers carry the message.

Can I send chocolates without flowers?

Both boxes are listed as add-ons and described as extras for a flower gift, so the simplest way to send one is in the cart with an arrangement. A bundle that already pairs roses and chocolates saves a step. For chocolates on their own, ask through our contact page first.

When is Sweetest Day?

Sweetest Day falls on the third Saturday in October, and flowers with chocolates are a classic way to mark it. Valentine's Day is February 14; when it lands on a Sunday, choose Saturday or an earlier day. See Sweetest Day flowers and gifts.
