What goes into our mixed bouquets
A good mix pairs a few large focal flowers with smaller blooms and greenery that fill the gaps and add texture. Roses appear in most of the bouquets in this collection, often next to hydrangeas, lilies, daisies, alstroemeria, sunflowers or gerbera daisies, with eucalyptus as a common green. Nature's Charm Bouquet, for example, gathers ivory roses with pink lisianthus, peach mini gerbera daisies, purple Peruvian lilies and cream stock. Secret Garden Peony Bouquet sets peonies among anemones, ranunculus and scabiosa for a looser garden look. Timeless Tulips takes a different route: one flower in a whole rainbow of colors.
Start with a color palette
Color sets the mood more than any single flower. One main color with one or two supporting shades tends to look polished: Pink Petals layers blush gerbera daisies with deeper rose tones, and Gathering Gratitude pairs purple with green. Red and white, as in Alice, feels classic and a little formal. Sunflowers and other yellow and orange blooms bring warmth, soft pastels feel gentle, and a bold mix like Spring Awakening, with roses and anemones in red, orange, purple, pink and yellow, reads as a celebration. If you know their favorite shade, browse pink flowers or purple and lavender flowers for more choices.
Birthdays, anniversaries and other occasions
Mixed bouquets work for most occasions because they don't rely on one flower's meaning. For birthdays, Best Day Bouquet combines roses, sunflowers and lilies. For anniversaries and romance, Romantic Boutique sets red and pink roses with Asiatic lilies, statice and mini carnations. Fields of Europe Celebration Thank You gathers bright color into one hand-tied bunch, and for a family that has lost someone, Alluring Elegance is a sympathy vase arrangement of lilies, Queen Anne's Lace and Veronica. Most arrangements come in a choice of sizes, often Standard, Deluxe and Premium, and a larger size usually means more stems and a fuller look.
Let the florist choose
If you can't decide, a Designer's Choice arrangement hands the decisions to the local florist. You pick the style and size, and the florist builds it in that style from the flowers on hand that day. Styles in this collection include Bright and Cheerful, Modern Design, Romantic Design and a Wrapped Bouquet that arrives hand-tied and ready to unwrap, with no vase. Deal of the Day is a florist's choice too: you pick the size, and the florist builds it from the blooms at their peak that morning. See every style in Designer's Choice flowers.
Bouquet delivery and care
Flower bouquet delivery works the same for every arrangement here: a local florist near the recipient arranges it and delivers it on the date you choose by ZIP code, at addresses in the United States. Order by 2:00 PM ET Monday to Friday or by 1:30 PM ET on Saturday for same-day delivery when that date is available for the ZIP code; there are no Sunday deliveries. Add your card message at checkout and it's included on a card. To keep the bouquet fresh, recut the stems every few days, top up with clean water, and keep it away from heat, drafts and ripening fruit. Flowers in a mix fade at different rates, so pull spent blooms as they go and the rest will keep looking full.
