Tabletop Christmas Trees

A small Christmas tree brings the holiday to a desk, side table or apartment without taking over the room. We offer two, each shaped by hand by a local florist near the recipient: one from boxwood and pine, one from red roses.

The guide below compares them so you can pick the right mini Christmas tree.

Picking a tabletop Christmas tree

Which small Christmas tree to choose

The Christmas Boxwood Tree is shaped from fresh-cut boxwood and pine with red accents at the base, and it comes in Small, Medium and Large for anything from a kitchen counter to a hallway console. The Crimson Christmas Tree comes in one size and is made of flowers: red roses and gerbera daisies formed into a cone, finished with ornaments and pinecones in a cylinder vase wrapped with Ti leaf ribbon. Choose the boxwood for evergreen texture and the Crimson for color. Both sit comfortably among our other Christmas decorations.

Placement and care

Neither tree is rooted, so keep both away from heat vents, fireplaces and sunny windows, which dry greenery and petals quickly. The Crimson Christmas Tree arrives fully assembled in its vase, so it is ready to display as soon as it comes in.

Tabletop tree questions

Is the Christmas Boxwood Tree a live tree?

No. It's shaped from fresh-cut boxwood and pine rather than grown in soil, so it can't be planted after the holidays. Because it's cut greenery, it keeps a tidy cone shape on the table instead of dropping needles the way a full-size live tree eventually does.

What size tabletop tree fits a desk?

For a desk or a small kitchen counter, the Small or Medium Christmas Boxwood Tree is usually the easiest fit. Measure the spot first and leave space around it so it isn't knocked as people pass. The Large size suits a console or an entry table.

Can I line up mini Christmas trees down a table?

Yes. Two or three Christmas Boxwood Trees set in a row along a dining table create a garland effect, and mixing sizes adds varying heights. Fill the gaps with low candles, or set the trees beside a fresh Christmas centerpiece to round out the holiday table.
